SMS messaging terms and conditions

Welcome to Local Lead Response Systems (LLRS). We operate an automated SMS notification service for local HVAC and plumbing service companies. This document outlines the terms and conditions for our missed call SMS notification service, effective April 26, 2024.

Program description

LLRS delivers automated SMS notifications to customers who place inbound calls to participating businesses (HVAC, plumbing, roofing, home repair) that go unanswered. The message acknowledges the missed call, offers a callback, and provides a link to schedule service. Messages are sent from a dedicated business phone number registered with Twilio's A2P 10DLC messaging platform.

Consent and opt-in policy

By calling a business that uses the LLRS notification service, you acknowledge that you may receive a single automated SMS response to your missed call. Your call signifies implied consent for this transactional SMS. No marketing, promotional content, or recurring messages will be sent without your explicit written consent. Consent to receive SMS messages is never a condition for receiving services.

Message frequency and rates

You will receive one SMS message per missed call event. Unsolicited follow-up messages, bulk promotions, or recurring automated messages are not part of this program. If you reply to the initial message, a response may be sent to address your inquiry. Please note, message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and service plan. LLRS does not charge recipients for SMS messages. Contact your wireless carrier for details on applicable messaging rates.

Opt-out and support

You can opt out of receiving SMS messages from any business using LLRS by replying STOP to any message. Upon your STOP request, no further messages will be sent from that business's Twilio number. To opt back in, reply START to the same number. For assistance, reply HELP to any message or contact LLRS directly.

Privacy and data protection at Local Lead Response Systems

Your privacy is a top priority for LLRS. Your mobile number is collected solely for the missed call notification service. We never sell, rent, transfer, or share your mobile number or opt-in data with third parties, affiliates, lead generators, or marketing partners for any purpose. This applies to both LLRS and any participating business. Mobile information is used exclusively for the single transactional notification for which implied consent was established. We do not use your phone number for marketing or advertising. All data is securely stored and retained only as long as necessary to deliver the service.

This service is available on all major U.S. wireless carriers, including but not limited to AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile, as well as various regional carriers. Please note that carrier availability may vary based on your location. LLRS is not responsible for any delays or failures in message delivery. For the best experience, ensure your device is compatible with your chosen carrier.

LLRS offers this SMS service on behalf of various independently operated HVAC and plumbing companies. Each participating business is responsible for ensuring that their use of this service complies with applicable laws and regulations. Prohibited Uses

This messaging service may not be used to send spam, unsolicited commercial messages, fraudulent content, harassing communications, or any content that violates applicable federal, state, or local laws. LLRS reserves the right to suspend service to any business found to be using the platform in violation of these Terms or applicable carrier guidelines.

Compliance

This service operates in compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the CAN-SPAM Act, CTIA Messaging Principles and Best Practices, and all applicable A2P 10DLC carrier requirements administered through The Campaign Registry (TCR). All phone numbers used in this service are registered under Twilio's A2P 10DLC program.

Changes to these Terms

LLRS reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website at www.localleadresponsesystems.com with an updated effective date. Continued use of the service following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
